Fam, what an interesting exercise this has been for me.
In sharing all of the steps I took and am still taking to independently publish my novels and others books soon to see the light of day, I'm remembering just how much work it is to self publish a book!
You see, just like being born is so traumatic that our subconscious wipes our memory clean of it, the same is true for self publishing.

Fam, as promised, I'm back.
And I come bearing gifts.
Waaay back in 2009, when I was first dipping my toe into the independent author arena, I was just like you - Overwhelmed by the sheer amount of in...no, let's face it...misinformation floating around on the Internet on self publishing.
It got so bad that more than a few times, I wanted to give up completely.

Fam, before I get into it, let me first admit -- I laughed a little when I wrote the title for this blog post.
Yes, I do believe that independent publishing is the most empowering, long-term economical viable option for authors.
But what I didn't know was that "according to a recent survey (as reported by The New York Times, ) 81 percent of people feel that they have a book in them…and should write it.”
Do you have a book you’re dying to write or know someone who does? OR have you already written & published your book, but have NO idea how to market and separate yourself from the crowd?
